GSC Publications
GSC Publications include reports, policy briefs, white papers, reflection papers, and similar types of publications developed on the basis of our research projects, fellowships, and Living Labs.
GSC Publications are always interdisciplinary products and are written by multiple authors from different disciplines, or a single author affiliated with a broader group of GSC-active researchers. The quality of the publications is ensured internally through the project funding application process and subsequent interdisciplinary research collaboration among peers within the relevant research field.
All researchers affiliated with GSC can publish the types of publications described above, provided that the publication is directly connected to research and activities within GSC. The authors of the publication retain the copyright to the work.
Open Access Policy
All publications are published Open Access, meaning that everyone can read them freely without login or payment. Open Books aims to make research openly accessible to the public and to promote global knowledge sharing.
Authors are not required to pay fees (so-called Book Processing Charges) to publish in Open Books.
Copyright and licensing
Authors retain the copyright to their publications in Open Books.
Publications are, by default, published with the Creative Commons license CC BY-NC. Please see the individual publication for details.
